Capsule Closet Goals

I visited a friend's home who has a capsule closet. I had never seen a capsule closet in person so I was pretty excited. When I saw my friend's closet I was not disappointed. I was amazed and totally inspired by it! She had 1 black dress with a design, 3 skirts, 3 sleeveless tops, a few regular tops, and some cardigans. She also told me she has 3 pairs of pants (a black pair, skinny jeans, and a pair with flares). She mostly had black or grey clothing items that can easily be paired with other colors. Here are some tips I learned from the visit.


Tip 1: Accessorize to make different outfits with your clothes
Tip 2: Less is more
Tip 3: Keep clothing items that you can use multiple ways
             
My friend said she uses the one dress she has for funerals, weddings, or to church. She simply wears a cardigan or tights to totally change the look of her black dress.
